The Vice President of Solution Management, Christiane Shah, at AIM Specialty Health, an Anthem Subsidiary, decided to organize a volunteer team to create Alyssa Starter Art Kits (SAKs) to support the Alyssa Alvin Foundation for Hope.  There were a total of 13 people who contributed funds for the cost of the art supplies.  This volunteer effort was lead by Karin Lancz, who worked with Yoli in the Project Management Team in 2012.  Karin attended Alyssa's high school graduation party in May 2013.  She also visited Alyssa several times while at Lurie Children's hospital in 2014.

Karin collected the funds, shopped for the art supplies and scheduled the preparation of Alyssa SAKs activity for the volunteer team.  The Solution Management volunteer team included the following people: Christiane Shah, Nicole Munns, Karin Lancz, Brad Hucker, Paula Inches, Andrea Goodwin, Doug Dunmore, Mark Hurley, Kerry Milewski, Valerie Rawicz and Ayushi Kawatra.

These Saks will be delivered to Central DuPage Hospital on Tuesday, November 17, 2015.

Several of the volunteers told Yoli that they enjoyed putting together Alyssa's SAKs, including a special note in each art bag and that it was a fun experience!
